Over 3 weeks, we’ll break down everything you need to master these challenging moves and start making immediate progress with:
3 Phases
Assess & Address → identify strengths and challenges and immediately start addressing them (week 1)
Implement → build power and control while enhancing flexibility for fluidity of movement (week 2)
Test & Integrate → put your hard work to the test, attempting a Ayesha or Handspring and, based on your results, determining your next steps (week 3)

Hi, I’m Mackenzie! A personal trainer, pole instructor, and professional dancer who’s worked with hundreds of aerialists (from beginner to advanced) on achieving their training goals through strength & flexibility training.
When it comes to Ayesha and Handspring specifically, I’m SUPER excited to share my knowledge as they’re two of the first moves in pole that made me feel like a strong and capable aerialist.

There will be options for machines, free weights, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises, however it is highly encouraged to utilize equipment. Some exercises will require access to at least a set of dumbbells and a resistance band.

If you’re someone who needs guidance and accountability, DIY isn’t going to be your best option. The DIY program gives you unlimited access to the program materials and sessions but there is no individual guidance on exactly how to structure your routine or exact sessions you should take. You can always reach out with technical question but other than that, you’re on your own, kid!

All exercises and sessions are uploaded to an on-demand section for you to access at any time as well as a written copy via a shared google drive for you to keep! There are options for both follow along sessions as well as individual exercises to use as reference.
